Mr. Nirmal K. Minda Chairman & Managing Director

An industrialist with rich business experience of more than four decades in the Auto Components Sector, he has been instrumental in forging new alliances and joint venture partnership with globally renowned names. Over the past four decades, he has been leading the Uno Minda Group with various accolades to his name. The Group grew manifold under his dynamic leadership, established footprints globally and received numerous awards and recognitions. He has held many offices in bodies like CII as Vice Chairman, Haryana State Council & Special Invitee, Northern Regional Council. He also served as the Chairman of ACMA, Northern Region for three consecutive years, followed by Vice President for 2016-17 President of ACMA for the year 2017-18. He has been conferred with 'EY Entrepreneur of the Year' Award in Manufacturing Category in 2019.

Shri Shadi Lal Minda Ji Our Founder (1930 – Forever)

The late Shri Shadi Lal Minda Ji was the visionary force behind the Uno Minda Group, a leader whose influence significantly shaped the trajectory of the Indian automotive sector. His pioneering spirit and strategic foresight laid the foundation for what has become one of the industry's most respected names. Shri Minda’s relentless pursuit of customer satisfaction and commitment to excellence established new benchmarks, fostering a culture of high standards and innovation.

Under his guidance, the Uno Minda Group became synonymous with innovation and reliability, evolving into a global player in the automotive industry. Shri Minda’s focus on continuous improvement and his forward-thinking approach were instrumental in the company's growth and success. Mr. Ravi Mehra Deputy Managing Director and Head - Group Corporate

Mr. Ravi Mehra is a visionary and ambitious leader, known for his transformative leadership and unwavering commitment to excellence. With over 30 years of automotive industry experience, he possesses a unique blend of strategic acumen, operational excellence and believes in fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and empowerment. Mr. Mehra has consistently demonstrated the ability to navigate complex challenges, envision the future and devise long-term strategies to achieve sustainable growth. He has been instrumental in formulating and driving the manufacturing strategy to meet global standards of quality and delivery. Under his leadership, 2W/3W switch business expanded its global footprint across multiple countries, besides being leader in India. He sets audacious yet achievable goals and motivates teams to think beyond the status quo. Mr. Ravi Mehra, a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He has handled many prominent roles in strategy, finance, marketing, manufacturing, materials, HR, and product & technology development. Mr. Mehra’s association with Uno Minda dates back to 1995, when he joined the Group as General Manager (Finance). Prior to Uno Minda, Mr. Mehra has had stints with various reputed organizations like Kelvinator, Pure Drinks Group etc.

Mr. Sunil BohraGroup CFO and CSO

Mr. Sunil Bohra is Group Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer, of Uno Minda Group. Mr. Bohra is a graduate with an honours degree in Commerce from MDS University, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and an alumni of the Harvard Business School.

Mr. Bohra's association with Uno Minda dates back to the year 2018 and since then he has played a pivotal role in driving phenomenal organic as well as inorganic growth of the Uno Minda Group in the last few years through expansion and domestic and cross-border M&A while keeping strict financial discipline. He has also set up the corporate affairs function in the organization to dive some of the strategic initiatives with regulatory bodies. His professional career spans over 24 years that specializes in handling multifaceted roles in large organizations that includes the Vedanta Group.

Mr. Vivek Jindal Whole time Director and CEO – Lighting and Acoustics Systems Domain - 1

Mr. Vivek Jindal is a Whole Time Director of Uno Minda Limited, Director of Minda Westport Technologies Ltd and Minda Onkyo India (P) Limited. He is also Director of Clarton Horns Spain and Mexico and successfully led the merger and acquisition of Spanish entity into Uno Minda folds. He is also leading EV/HV initiatives for Uno Minda Group. An experienced professional with 19 years in the automotive Industry, Mr. Jindal completed his engineering from IIT Delhi, MBA from Katz Graduate School of Business (University of Pittsburgh - USA) and Executive MBA program from Harvard Business School. He is also member of Entrepreneurs Organization (EO)- Delhi Chapter, Regional Chairperson- Northern Region of ACMA and Member of CII Haryana State Council. Before joining Minda Group, he had worked in Infosys Technologies and India Bulls. Mr. Jindal is an avid reader, health enthusiast and passionate singer.

Mr. Anand Kumar Minda Non - Executive Director

Mr. Anand Kumar Minda is the Non-Executive Director of our Company. He has over 35 years of hands-on experience in financial control, reviews, manufacturing, and project management. He has been appointed as member of the Board since 2011. Mr. Anand Kumar Minda plays a pivotal role in new projects and strategy formulation. He is also the member of Audit Committee, Stakeholders Relationship Committee, and CSR Committee of the Company.

DR. K.K. KHANDELWAL Independent Director

Dr. Khandelwal is retired IAS officer, Ex-Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Haryana and Ex- Chairman of Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Gurugram. He began his career as an Assistant Professor in two Universities consecutively before joining IAS. He joined Indian Administrative Service in the Year 1985 and was allocated to Haryana cadre where he started his career as SDM Firozpur Jhirka, erstwhile sub-division of district Gurgaon. Thereafter, he worked in several administrative positions such as Additional Deputy Commissioner Gurgaon, Chief Executive Officer Mewat Development Agency, Additional Director Industries and Chairman Single Window Agency, Administrator Haryana Urban Development Authority Gurgaon and Administrator Haryana Urban Development Authority, Panchkula.

He has been Deputy Commissioner of Faridabad and Chandigarh. While working as District Magistrate, District Collector and Deputy Commissioner Chandigarh, he also headed 28 departments in Union Territory Chandigarh. Dr. Khandelwal has served for nearly eight years in the Chief Minister Office Haryana as Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Haryana. Dr. Khandelwal has recently superannuated from the position of Chairman of Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Gurugram.

Mrs. Rashmi Urdhwareshe Independent Director

Mrs. Rashmi Urdhwareshe retired as Director ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India, Pune) in June 2020. Having started her career as Trainee Engineer, Mrs. Urdhwareshe rose through the ranks to take the coveted position as Director of ARAI in year 2014. ARAI is the prestigious autonomous R&D and Homologation Institute located in Pune. During her illustrious tenure as Director, ARAI scaled new heights in technology, business excellence and R&D. Under her leadership Center of Excellence in E-Mobility, Homologation and Technology Centre and several key facilities were created to provide dedicated services to the automotive and other engineering sectors at national and international level.

Mrs. Urdhwareshe has a distinguished academic and professional career. She holds master's degree in E&TC and several other professional qualifications such as Diploma in Corporate Directorship (from WCCG), Six Sigma Black Belt (from ASQ), etc. Her 40+ years of industrial experience and expertise includes wide range of subjects in automotive domain (like vehicular safety, Air quality and exhaust measurements, Standards/ Regulations, R&D and technology, E mobility, Alternate fuels and green technologies, Quality Systems and Business Excellence, etc.)

Mrs. Urdhwareshe has served as the Chair / Vice Chair of various national/ international bodies and contributed greatly to developing automotive safety, emission and fuel efficiency standards under CMVR. She has also been an integral part of Indian delegations and led the technical deliberations from Indian side at UN-ECE WP.29 at Geneva in for about 15 years (1996 to 2020).

• • Chair- Transport Engineering Division Council (TEDC), Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), New Delhi (Year 2015-20).
• • Chair- AISC (Automotive Industry Standards Committee), which formulates Safety Standards in India during her tenure as Director-ARAI (Year 2014 to 2020)
• • Vice Chair of Working Party on Pollution and Energy (GRPE) at the Global Forum under UN-ECE at Geneva during period 2014-2017.

She is the immediate Past President of SAE India (Society of Automobile Engineers). She is also Senior Advisor to Pune Knowledge Cluster (PKC), which is set up under the directions of Principal Scientific Advisor, Government of India. With huge experience and wide expertise, Mrs. Rashmi has also taken up Advisory and Mentorship roles for Corporates, Educational/ Research programs and Government Agencies. She is Independent Director on the board of automotive companies.

Mrs. Urdhwareshe is Co-author of Book on Total Quality Management. She has independently authored book “Women and Workplaces” She is a recipient of several awards in the areas of women Empowerment, Corporate Leadership, Engineering Excellence, E-mobility, Business Excellence, Economic Development, Quality Excellence and many more. For her lifetime contributions towards development of Automotive Technology, she is honored with Nari Shakti Puraskar 2019, at the hands of Hon'ble President of India on 8th March 2020.

Mr. Rajiv Batra Independent Director

Mr. Rajiv Batra is Chartered Accountant from ICAI and Economics Honors graduate from Shriram College of Commerce Delhi. He is a seasoned professional with over four decades of experience in Finance and Accounting across India and US. He is a passionate business Leader helping businesses them with their plans to scale up, guiding them with strategic business inputs, as well as providing them with timely interventions and support, including cost effective sources of funding.

Earlier, Rajiv has worked with Xerox for 15 years. He was one of first founding employees of the finance function at Xerox in India rose to Chief Financial officer. He subsequently moved to Xerox Inc. based at Stamford Connecticut USA - as Head for Controls across Developing Markets and in less than 18 months moved as CFO for the Developing markets. He has also worked with Digital Equipment India Limited, a subsidiary of US $12 Billion listed Corporation and Cummins India Ltd as CFO leading their finance function and instrumental in financial turnaround as well as business restructuring. During his tenure, Rajiv got inevitable varied exposures in all facets of Finance, Treasury, Planning and Analysis, Control, Audit and Governance including interacting with the Independent Directors of the listed venture.

Mr. Satish Balkrishna Borwankar Independent Director

Mr. Satish Balkrishna Borwankar is a B-Tech (Hons.)- Mechanical Engineering, of 1974 batch of IIT Kanpur. He started his carrier with Tata Motors from 1974 as a Graduate Engineer Trainee. He acquired wide experience of working in automobile industry, particularly in manufacturing and quality functions of commercial vehicles & passenger vehicles of Tata Motors.

Mr. Borwankar worked in various executive positions, for overseeing and implementing product development, manufacturing operations and quality assurance of commercial & passenger vehicle business of Tata Motors. He played significant role in setting up some of the green field projects in Tata Motors. He superannuated as Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer after serving the Organisation for 45 years. He has also served as a Board member for various companies such as Jaguar Land Rover India Private Ltd., Tata Cummins Private Ltd. etc.

DR. SANDHYA SHEKHAR Independent Director

Dr. Sandhya Shekhar is an accomplished advisor and strategy consultant, working across industry, academia, and the innovation ecosystem. She specializes in business strategy, digital transformation, innovation, sustainability, and corporate governance. Sandhya has served on numerous expert committees, including BIRAC and Bionest, advising on bio-tech incubators and innovation ecosystems. She has also served on the IT Advisory Council for SBI's digital transformation.

She is an independent director on the boards of Simpson & Co. Ltd. and IP Rings Ltd., with prior roles on the boards of Amco Batteries and Bimetal Bearings Ltd. As a guest faculty at IIT Madras and other institutions, she teaches a wide range of courses, including leadership and business strategy. She is a member of advisory boards such as SOIL Institute of Management.

With over three decades of experience, Sandhya was the founding CEO of IIT Madras Research Park, helping scale the innovation ecosystem in India. Her previous roles include Director at Gartner Inc., CTO of BConnectB.com, and Head of Knowledge Management Research at Aptech. She holds a PhD from IIT Madras and an MBA from IIM Bangalore and has received numerous awards for her contributions to the industry and academia. An accomplished speaker and author, her work on virtual organizations has gained global recognition.

Mr. Rajeev Gandotra CEO – Lighting and Acoustics Systems Domain - 2

A graduate engineer (Tool Room Training Centre), Mr. Gandotra is an experienced professional with demonstrated potential in automotive industry. Mr. Gandotra has played a pivotal role in Business Planning, Procurement Planning, Group Strategy. Mr. Gandotra has been associated with Uno Minda for more than a decade. His professional exposure includes in-depth experience in Greenfield projects, M&A, operational and financial turnaround, financial control and reviews, managing joint venture relationships, international business and organization building, and talent development. Before joining Uno Minda, he was working with JBM Group.

Mr. Naveesh Garg CEO - Electronics and Control Systems Domain

Mr. Garg has been associated with the Indian Automobile & Ancillary industry for more than 32 years. He has excellent technical & strategical experience with in-depth understanding of market trends. A graduate in B- Tech, Production Engineering from NIT - Calicut, Mr. Garg has done his post-graduation in MBA from MDI, Gurgaon. He has been associated with Uno Minda since 1990 and has played an instrumental role in the company's growth & expansion across different segments & verticals. Mr. Garg has been looking after various key functions for Minda Industries which includes setting up of the Infotainment Business and Alloy Wheel Business with support of JV Partners besides others.

Mr. Ramesh KSCEO – ADAS, CONTROLLER AND SENSOR DOMAIN

Mr. Ramesh KS brings over 32 years of experience in the Indian Automobile & Ancillary industry. A dynamic leader, he excels in Operations, Business Development, Engineering, and Supply Chain Management, serving both domestic and international markets. Mr. Ramesh holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Madras and an MBA in Finance from Symbiosis, Pune. His expertise includes EV Manufacturing, Axial Flux and Stepper Motors, Electronic Modules, Transmissions, HVAC, and more. In 2024, he joined Uno Minda, further strengthening the group’s capabilities in the automotive sector.

Mr. Kundan K. Jha CEO - Light Metal and Powertrain Systems Domain

Mr. Kundan K. Jha academic exposure includes a Post Graduate in Quality Management from England, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious Birla Institute of Technology. His professional exposure includes rich corporate exposure of more than 32 years, with his association with Uno Minda starting in November 2017. Before joining us, he was working with Aurangabad Electricals Ltd. as ED and CEO. Prior to that, Mr. Jha has worked with Bharat Forge Ltd, Sundaram Clayton Ltd., Enkei Castalloy Ltd., and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.

Mr. Rakesh Kher CEO - Aftermarket Domain

Mr. Rakesh Kher's academic qualification includes a B.Tech. from REC Rourkela, an M.Tech. from IIT Kharagpur, and an MBA from the prestigious FMS, Delhi. His professional exposure includes more than 40 years of diverse experience in strategy, business transformation, manufacturing, and project management, along with sales and marketing in domestic and international aftermarket segments.

Mr. Kher's association with Uno Minda started in 2004, and since then he has played a pivotal role in expanding the company's product portfolio, strengthening customer relationships and driving innovation to meet the evolving needs of the industry. Prior to Uno Minda, he held various positions in senior management while working with Larsen and Toubro, Cookson India Limited, and Advani Oerlikon Limited

Mr. A. G. Giridharan CEO - Safety and Comfort Systems Domain

Mr. A. G. Giridharan is CEO, Safety and Comfort System (SCS) Domain, of Uno Minda Group. Mr. Giridharan started his association with Uno Minda in 2021. Prior to joining Uno Minda, Mr. Giridharan was associated with Harita Seating Systems as President. Since then, he has played a key role in driving new joint ventures for the Uno Minda Group in the SCS domain.

Prior to Uno Minda and Harita, Mr. Giridharan has a diversified career experience working with Greaves Cotton, KPMG Consulting and Hindustan Unilever, with experience in business development, strategy development and execution, supply chain improvement and retail marketing. His professional career spans over 34 years. Mr. Giridharan is an Engineering graduate from IIT Kharagpur and PGDM from IIM Calcutta.

Mr. Amit Jain Group CTO

Mr. Amit Jain is the Group CTO of Uno Minda Ltd. He has joined Uno Minda in 2017 and has been playing a vital role to delve into the growing electronics market. He has set up CREAT (Center for Research, Engineering and Advance Technologies) which is in the space of developing cutting edge technology in mobility solutions. Prior to joining Uno Minda, Mr. Jain was associated with Visteon Corporation as its Country Head - Electronics.

He was also associated with Escorts Limited. His diversified career experience includes business development, program management, engineering & product development, vendor development and manufacturing. An experienced professional with 25+ years in the automotive Industry, Mr. Jain has a strong educational background too having a degree in mechanical engineering from R. V. College, Bangalore and an Advanced Management Program from IIM, Bangalore

Mr. Rakesh Mehta Group CHRO

Mr. Rakesh Mehta, the Group CHRO of Uno Minda, brings a wealth of experience garnered over nearly three decades. His academic background includes a master’s degree from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, and a Master’s in Personnel Management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune.

Specializing in cultural transformation, employee relations, mergers & acquisitions, and establishing robust people practices, Mr. Mehta is renowned for his expertise in compensations and benefits. With exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, he has spearheaded transformation initiatives in both unionized and non-unionized environments, fostering high levels of employee engagement.

In 2024, Mr. Mehta joined the Uno Minda group, following a distinguished tenure at JSW Energy Limited. Previously, he held key roles at prominent organizations including Reliance Industries, General Motors, Asian Paints, Crompton Greaves, Rallis India, and Gujarat Guardian.

Mr. Ashok Taneja Advisor

Mr. Ashok Taneja is one of the most respected & recognised auto components industry professional in India. He has more than four decades' experience in auto Industry and have closely witnessed and played his part in evolution of auto component industry over these years. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.Ashok Taneja held the office of Managing Director & CEO at Shriram Pistons and Rings for over 20 years, before superannuating on March 31, 2022. He is currently Chairman, TK Precision (P) Ltd and serving on the Group Supervisory Board of Anand Group and Group Advisory Board of Uno Minda. He also holds senior Advisory position in Asahi India Glass. Ashok Taneja is the Past President of Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) .He has been the Chairman of Young Business Leaders' Forum (YBLF), Co-Chairman for OEM Interface Committee and Advisor - ACMA Committee on Government Advocacy, Regulations & Research.He is currently serving as Advisor - ACMA Centre of Excellence and also Advisor - Government Affairs and Strategic Initiatives. Ashok Taneja is a member of National Council of CII for the last many years. He has represented the Indian auto component industry in various forums in India and abroad, for more than two decades.He was the Co-Chairman of the Tata Motors National Supplier Council and also served as the President of Honda Car Suppliers Club and subsequently as their Advisor, for over a decade. He was on the Board of Governors of Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh for the period 2015 - 2021.In June '21 he has been accorded the honour & title of 'Fellow' by the All India Management Association (AIMA) 'in recognition of achievements & contribution in the field of professional management'.

Mr. Navin Paul Advisor

Mr. Navin Paul is an industry veteran with around 4 decades of experience in automotive industry. He is an eminent expert on Automotive Components in the Expert Advisory Group (EAG) to Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (Govt. of India). He is also a nominated Expert on Automotive Industry by ICICI Securities Ltd. He also served as an elected Member of the Executive Committee of ACMA from Sep 2015 to Aug 2021He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Science in Mechanical Engineering (with Honors) from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, Haryana and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi.

During his professional career, he has worked with various reputed organisations like Ashok Leyland, Escorts, Bosch etc. He was the Former Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing of Mobility Solutions with BOSCH, India from 2011-2017 reporting to BOSCH Board of Management in Germany. He has over 23 years of work experience with Bosch itself where he had held varied and challenging responsibilities in the Automotive and Industrial Divisions of Bosch including aftermarket, export, customer relations, sales, marketing, strategy etc.He currently serves as Independent Director on Board of India Piston Rings Limited (Amalgamation Group), Amalgamation Repco Limited and Pricol Limited. He also supports He supports SMIL (Sharda Motor India Limited) / Eberspaecher - Sharda JV in India as a Business Mentor.
