Mega trends of personalization, autonomous, connected, and electrified brought to life by Uno Minda at 16th Auto Expo Components

The 16th Auto Expo Components which held after a gap of 3 years (Feb 2020) was recently concluded at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The Auto Expo-Asia’s which is the largest automotive show was jointly organised by CII, SIAM and ACMA was no less than a global event. This year’s Auto Expo - Component had special emphasis on technological innovations via focus on future technologies driving product innovation, efficient manufacturing and logistics.

In line with theme of Auto Expo 2023- Components, Uno Minda participated with one of the largest space showcasing its formidable product portfolio built around mega trends of Personalization, Autonomous, Connected and Electrified.

  • Personalization was showcased as “affordable luxury”. The key technologies in lightning, seating, acoustics, and smart phone were integrated to showcase what an Indian consumer can expect in his/her car.
  • Autonomous was exhibited by considering Indian driving conditions hence it revolved around driver assistance system and driver behaviour monitoring
  • Connected as Connected platform to collect, control, monitor and monetize vehicles data
  • Electrification, Uno Minda has been convincing present in the EV Technology across segments with charging and powertrain solutions

Uno Minda parked the above in three concept vehicles (Technology Demonstrators) for the purposes of demonstrating its current line-up of components to enable electrification and connected vehicles on the expo floor.

Uno Minda’s 4- Wheeler Technology Demonstrator

Uno Minda boasts entry-level autonomous tech in four-wheeler technology that includes features like rear view camera display (in place of side rear view mirrors) and driver drowsiness detection, among others.

In two-wheeler tech, the company demonstrated its latest lighting components, which merge the tail lamp and indicators into one unit, a heated seat, heated grips, and touch controls for changing modes, among others. The company also displayed its extensive two-wheeler portfolio with lighting components, battery packs, BMS, and chargers.

Besides the product exhibits, Uno Minda also showcased an access-only Innovation Zone displaying new technologies we are working on and giving visitors an enthralling experience of our futuristic products and technologies with live technology demonstrators. The stall was graced by dignitaries, esteemed customers and Auto component associations. The event was overall very successful and witnessed huge footfall, great words of motivation and an amazing spirit of teamwork.
